I have to admit that I was fully engrossed watching the women’s football in the recent London 2012 Olympics. Women’s football has come such a long way over the last few years. Certainly the USA Women’s team has reached iconic status over here and rightly so.The women’s football matches I watched were, if I dare say it so much better generally than men’s football games (Olympics). I include the England team in this statement.  Why? The women had passion, determination, stamina and excitement. It was end to end stuff, on the edge of your seat play that we all love to watch, particularly the USA v Canada and USA v Japan games. Compare that to… the England men’s team and well…. slow, pathetic, no soul, bland, where was the team spirit? Need I go on?

To read this article about AC Milan headhunting Aisha was so refreshing. It will be interesting to follow her career path.

Is this the face of football to come? Have AC Milan set a precedent here?

Can you see Women and Men playing side by side in the same team?

Of course hubby did mention the fact that the communal bath after the match would have to go. Trust a man!

Do they still have communal baths? Oh so gross! Showers would be so much more hygienic guys!

What is your opinion? Can you see the face of football changing?
