Playsuits? Rompers? Culottes?
Once upon a time. Ladyg possessed a navy blue & white ’culotte dress,’ it was her favourite and the pride of her closet. What happened to it, I can not remember. But I am on the search for a replacement. However, being a woman of mature years, I have in mind something age appropriate.
I am asking myself what is the difference between culottes the playsuit and the romper? Do you know the answer? I thought that originally culottes hid the fact that they had divided legs so there was more material in the garment. However, Wikipedia gives a different historical version.

I am hungering after a pair of culottes or a culotte dress? I think I feel a shopping expedition coming on. I prefer the name ‘culotte’ it sounds so much more stylish don’t you think?, as opposed to ‘Playsuit’ or ‘Romper,’ which sounds like something from “50 Shades of Grey.”
